Of course, it all started out quite well, when Tate Rosner McRae from Calgary amazed everyone with her ballet skills and flexibility on the American TV dance talent show “So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation.” Her choreography is still breathtaking, her sweet vocals and collaborations with Billie Eilish, Tiesto, and Troye Sivan (“You”) complete the pop princess package. She really took off with “Greedy” at the end of 2023 and has been racking up tons of clicks on Spotify ever since – only two years have passed since her world tour. Tate McRae is setting an astonishing pace. As a duet partner with country star Morgan Wallen, she landed her first number one hit in the US singles charts in 2025 with “What I Want.” Her third album, “So Close To What,” also topped the US charts.
